Community guidelines
Vouchstream is a web of trust for contemplative and esoteric practice. It works only if vouches mean something. These guidelines are the deal.
Trusted consensus, not truth
A score or badge on Vouchstream describes the shape of the vouch graph — who, among the people the network already trusts, has vouched for someone. It is notproof of attainment, competence, or safety. “Lineage-verified” means a vouch chain reaches a seeded root teacher; it is a strong social signal, never a guarantee.
What we do not do
- We do not verify credentials, qualifications, or identities beyond a sign-in.
- We are not a referral service, a safety service, or a medical or clinical service.
- Nothing here is medical, psychological, legal, or safety advice.
Vouch honestly
- Vouch only for practice you have personally witnessed.
- Attest only to what you can stand behind about yourself.
- Your vouch carries your own standing. Reciprocal or coordinated vouching to inflate scores is abuse.
About claims that touch safety
Some claims (e.g. holding psychedelic ceremony, trauma-facing work) bear on real-world safety and, in some places, legality. A vouch is one person’s opinion. Do your own diligence, meet people first, and never treat a badge as permission to skip caution.
Reporting and removal
Report any vouch, attestation, or profile that is dishonest, harmful, or about you without consent. You can request removal of a vouch made about you. Moderators review reports and may hide content or suspend accounts.
